Meeting #25

Last night's meeting of 100 Women Who Care Alamogordo was amazing!!! We celebrated our 6th birthday and have now donated over $280,000 dollars

We heard from our 24th quarter recipient Otero County Special Olympics on how they've utilized the funds they received. Our 3 incredible local nonprofit nominees for this meeting were the Tularosa Basin Museum of History Miss Alamogordo & Miss Otero County and Children's Music Theater of Alamogordo They each shared the wonderful with they are doing in our community.

Our 25th quarter recipient was the Children’s Musical Theater. They received $10,500. Our round up sponsor, Space City Evening Sertoma will round up to the next thousand and they donated an additional $1000 to each of the other be selected nominees!!!!

Meeting #26

What a wonderful way to kick off a week and holiday season with our quarterly 100 Women Who Care Alamogordo gathering! This quarter we met at D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro Alamogordo. We heard short presentations from 2 local nonprofits Miss New Mexico and 100% Otero, and Children's Music Theater of Alamogordo stopped in to say Thank You for the funds they received last quarter! This quarter's Round Up Sponsor was Future Real Estate - Alamogordo Thank you so much for partnering with our group and helping to increase our impact in the community. This quarter's recipient was Miss New Mexico Scholarship Foundation! Congratulations! In the past 6.5 years we have donated nearly $300,000 to local nonprofits and it's because of numerous wonderful women reach giving a small amount, together we make a difference!. The Miss New Mexico Scholarship Foundation will be receiving a minimum of $10,514.34

Meeting #27

We had an awesome “Galentines” meeting tonight …we had our 27th 100 Women Who Care Alamogordo gathering! This quarter we met at D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro Alamogordo. We heard short presentations from 2 local nonprofits AMT and Mainstreet ❤️ This quarter's Round Up Sponsor was Alamogordo Sertoma Club, who gave each nonprofit who presented $1500!!! Thankyou you so much for partnering with our group and helping to increase our impact in the community. This quarter's recipient was MAINSTREET 👑 Congratulations! In the past 6 3/4 years we have donated over $320,000 to local nonprofits and it's because of numerous wonderful women each giving a small amount, together we make a difference! 🥰#GoodNewsAlamogordo #GiveAlamogordo #100whocare Collected  Mainstreet $10,631.00 from our ladies and 5k from the Schultz foundation.

Meeting #28.  

What a wonderful evening for the 28th meeting of 100 Women Who Care Alamogordo! We had a great crowd of amazing women who love coming together to support their local community. Last night we heard from three local nonprofits, they included White Sands Habitat for Humanity, Shared Table, and The Counseling Center. Each of them shared the wonderful work that they're doing in our community and how the funds would impact their organization. This quarters recipient was Shared Table, they serve 150 + community members every Saturday at Grace Methodist Church. (These meals are free and open to anyone) They will utilize the funds to purchase new commercial refrigerators, much needed for their program. Big thank you to our Roundup sponsor, Coldwell Banker they generously donated to round up to the next $1,000 for Shared Table, and they also are donating $500 to the other two nominees. Thank you so much to everyone, you help make our community great! They will receive a minimum 0f 10K. Shared pantry received a total of $11,025.00.  The counciling Center qualified for the Shultz Grant of 5K

Meeting #29

What an incredible evening last night for 100 Women Who Care Alamogordo! The 1-hour event was jam-packed. Three of our past recipients (Alamogordo MainStreet, Miss New Mexico/Miss New Mexico Teen and Shared Table at Grace Methodist Church Alamogordo) returned to share updates on how their organizations have been impacted by the funds they received. This quarter's finalists were Forever Homes Animal Rescue 501c3 - Nonprofit, Kid's Inc. Child Advocacy Center and Shared Pantry at Grace Methodist Church Alamogordo, and the recipient was Forever Homes Animal Rescue Big thank you to this quarter's Roundup Sponsor Nichols Ranch and Orchard

We are so grateful to all the incredible local women who have joined #100WomenWhoCare #Alamogordo and are making a huge impact in our community with 4 - one-hour meetings each year, your generosity has added up to over $335,000 given to local nonprofits in our short 7 years !  

 Update  $11,100 received!!!   Kids Inc. qualified for the Schultz foundation grant! 5K!!

Meeting #30

What an amazing night!!! 100 Women Who Care Alamogordo met for their 30th meeting last night and had the opportunity to hear from 3 local nonprofits, the Alamogordo Tiger Band Boosters Otero Hunger Coalition and With Many Hands Alamogordo It's always so much fun to learn about the non-profits in our community and the incredible work they do. We also had an update from last quarter's recipient Forever Homes Animal Rescue 501c3 - Nonprofit the funds they received are going to great use. Huge thank you to this quarter's roundup sponsor Sacramento Mountains Foundation, we appreciate your partnership and support, and congratulations to this quarter's recipient Alamogordo Tiger Band Boosters. Can you believe that prior to this meeting we have raised over $350,000 to support local nonprofits?!? It's crazy and so so wonderful! Thank you to all the #Alamogordo #WomenWhoCare.  Total raised by our ladies $10,114.34 +$2500.00 from SMF
