Meeting #20

5 years, 20 quarterly meetings, less than 20 hours total and more than $200,000 raised by local women for our local nonprofits!!! At tonight's gathering we heard from last quarter's recipient, NAMI of Southern NM and how the funds they received are already helping people dealing with mental health issues here in Otero County. We also heard from this quarter's finalist, Serviceheart CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Alamogordo Girls Fastpitch League and Otero County Fallen Officer Memorial. CASA was the recipient and with the generous support of this quarter's Round Up Sponsor, Elite Memories Boutique, they will receive  $10,000! The women of #AlamogordoRock!  Thank you French Brothers for sponsoring all the yummy snacks for our celebration.

Meeting #19
Another great quarterly meeting for 100 Women Who Care Alamogordo ! We met on Tuesday ( February 8th) evening at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts. We had an opportunity to hear from last quarter's recipient, Love INC of Otero County and how the funds they received have impacted their Backpack Program. We also heard from this quarter's finalist, Big Brothers Big Sister of Otero County, the Pregnancy Help Center and NAMI of Southern NM. NAMI was the winner and with the generous support of this quarter's Round Up Sponsor (Space City Evening Sertoma) they will receive between $10,441.67  Not bad for a 1 hour meeting! Meeting #18

On November 9th  2021, we held our 18th quarter meeting.  We were so happy to able to meet in person at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts.  Happily 65 ladies were in attendance. The 3 nominees who presented to our membership were, Love inc., The Salvation Army, and Saint Francis Cabrini. The projected donation will be $10,000. Love inc. was our recipient and were overwhelmed that they were chosen.
Thank you to our Round up Partner Erica Martinez of Coldwell Bankers.. Thank you Erica for all the lovely cupcakes and champagne for our membership:) The Tiger band gave us a lovely presentation, and showed us all the awards they received form The Zia Marching Band Fiesta and Sections!!!! They so kindly presented us with a awesome plaque of gratitude.

Meeting #17

On August 2nd 2021, we held our 17th quarter meeting.  We were so happy to able to meet in person at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts.  Happily 60 ladies were in attendance.  The 3 nominees who presented to our membership were, The Fallen Officers Memorial,The AHS band boosters club, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.  The members voted and our donations went to the AHSBBC. The projected donation will be $9,000. The band members were overwhelmed and accepted the donation with tears and joy.
Thank you to Desert Sun for being our round up partner. Thank you French Brothers for the awesome boxed dinners we had at Patrons Hall.
